Innovation Club's Mega Event

The mega event conducted by Innovation Club NIT Jalandhar was successfully held on 13th October 2018 with the inauguration ceremony on 12th October which was witnessed by Director, Dr.Lalit Kumar Awasthi, Registrar Dr.S.K. Mishra, Dean Student Welfare Dr.A.L Sangal, Dean Research and Development Dr.Arvind Bharadwaj, Faculty Coordinator Dr.L.P. Singh and Co-Faculty Coordinator Dr.Balwinder Raj.

Dr. L K Awasthi in the inauguration ceremony addressed the students and focussed on increasing the thought process of students so as to lead to any new innovation in any field.

Next followed the main event which was conducted on 13th October 2018 which saw participation from colleges in and around Jalandhar.
A total of 26 teams witnessed the event from colleges: Dr.B.R Ambedkar National Institute Of Technology, Jalandhar Lovely Professional University, Jalandhar
Gulzar Group Of Institutions, Khanna, GNDU, Jalandhar.

The main idea behind the event was presenting a fabricated model in the following disciplines:

1.Hardware-Based: IOT, etc.
2.  Software-Based: Web and Mobile Applications.
3.Business Plans : Entrepreneur Ideas.
The event saw many innovative and unique ideas.
The event was judged by Dr.Dilbagh Singh, Professor, Department Of Instrumentation And Control Engineering , Dr. L.P Singh, Faculty Coordinator Innovation Club NIT Jalandhar, Dr. Kapil Kumar Goyal, Department of Industrial and Production Engineering, Dr. Balwinder Raj, Co Faculty Coordinator NIT Jalandhar.

The event was well managed by Innovation Club member prominent among them being the convenor and co-convenor Ria Sharma and Mohd.Asif respectively.

Each team presented the model and presentation enthusiastically and the total prize money for the event was Rs.11000.

All the team's were very enthusiastic and determined and found this to be a great platform to reward talents.
All the Team Members were presented with momentous as a token of respect and for their hard work.
